Flat is the new Fancy. Notice how 3-dimensional design elements have been missing a lot in websites, advertisements, etc. these days? It’s ’cause flat design has taken over…in design elements, there now exist in only two dimensions, keeping functionality of regular interfaces, but stripping effects like shadows, gradients, bejeweled-ness, etc. Reminds one of those minimalistic propaganda posters of decades gone by.
