What various career changes have you had over the years?
(this is one of those posts where you tell me a bit about yourself, don’t be shy!)
I used to do freelance web design & hosting, til I found out my neighbor’s grandma started up her own firm doing the same.  There’s no way I can compete with her, she’s too cute!  Have you even seen her veggie garden and crocheted coasters?

Just teasing.  I actually got out of that industry (after roughly 14 years) in order to go back to doing what I love most about part of that old job, which is networking, talking to people, finding out about what it is that makes their brands tick and helping make that part shine through.  

Before venturing out on my own, I worked for several different companies in traditional employment roles where I commuted daily to be part of a cog in a sometimes corporate (sometimes government) machine.  I learned a lot about how various businesses were run, having been part of the behind-the-scenes action, and also learned that I work better as a leader…and in this case, a cheerleader.
